{true friends…}

…will find you a tumbleweed when they go to Arizona on vacation because they know that you’re fascinated with them and have always wanted to take pictures of one.  True friends will also send their husband to chase after it while filming a video, and *then* put that baby in a box and ship it halfway across the country so you can have a tumbleweed of your very own.

{Megan & Scott; Engaged}

Megan & Scott are tying the knot on April 17th, and Monday Hot Husband and I were able to hang out with them at Coleman’s Irish Pub in Syracuse.  I really want to thank the staff at Coleman’s for allowing us to use their fantastic pub for their Engagement Session.  We had the run of the bar while they were getting ready for lunch, and I can’t remember when I’ve shot at such an interesting location.  Since Hot Husband & I happen to both be Irish, it was extra fun.  We actually ended up going back after the session for lunch.  It’s been years since we were there last, but the food was just as fabulous as I remembered.  But I digress…

Megan & Scott started out shooting a little darts.  I love the way Scott is looking at her in this image, and if you look close you can even see the dart on it’s way.  Do you see it?

Pool, anyone?

I love the dark, moody feel of this picture.

After Coleman’s we decided to head downtown for a little stroll.  It was kind of chilly, but they were troopers.  This time, I love the way Megan is looking at Scott.  The connection between the two of them has me so excited for their wedding.  I always tell my couples to ignore me during their session, and they had no problems doing so.

One of my favorites from their session.  These two are naturals!

I love this one, too.

I thought the “say yes” was fitting, don’t you?
