Hot Husband ran the Shamrock Run, his first race, on Saturday.  I’m very proud of him!  Here are some highlights from the day…

A few of the guys from the rugby team were there, too.  Here they are waiting for the race to start.

I *love* men in kilts, and thought it was awesome that Kurt ran in one.  I wonder where I can find one for Hot Husband?

Parking was a nightmare, so when I found a spot at the park I just stayed there.  That meant I saw the beginning and the end of the race, but nothing in the middle.  This is Hot Husband approaching the finish line.

He came in 1,609 out of 2,358 runners, with a time of 41:28.  Congratulations on your first race, honey!

{winter wonderland}

Central New York woke up to a fresh blanket of snow sticking to the trees on Sunday morning, and I couldn’t pass up the chance to take it all in.  I’m not a fan of winter, except when it looks like this.  I found myself wishing I had a fearless Bride with a warm pair of Uggs to shoot, though.  Can you believe I’ve *never* shot a winter wedding?

A vertical shot of the steeple, because I couldn’t decide which I liked better.

This caught my eye on a recent drive.
